TOREXS: Crypto Asset Automation

TOREXS is a crypto asset management and automation platform built for users who want to monitor and manage their crypto holdings from a single panel. Through its Binance API integration it tracks portfolio data in real time, executes automated buy and sell operations according to predefined strategies, and keeps those operations under control with risk management tools. The platform is built on Next.js, Python FastAPI and PostgreSQL.

About the Project

Crypto markets are open around the clock, and price movements can change direction within minutes. In this environment, monitoring a portfolio manually, returning to the exchange screen on every price change and entering trades by hand is both time-consuming and error-prone. TOREXS takes this burden off the user by combining the tracking, decision and execution steps in a single system.

At the center of the platform is the Binance API integration. When the user connects their account, their assets and balances are reflected in the platform, while price data streams in from the exchange in real time. The automation layer built on top of this creates buy and sell orders automatically according to the rules the user has defined. The risk management component ensures that these orders stay within the defined limits, preventing uncontrolled losses.

The goal of the project is to turn crypto trading from an activity that demands constant screen time into a regular, observable and rule-based process. The user-facing web interface and the background services that communicate with the exchange were designed together with that goal in mind.

Key Features

• Binance API integration: The user account connects directly to Binance; balances and asset allocation are transferred to the platform automatically. All communication with the exchange goes through the official API.
• Real-time portfolio tracking: The current value, allocation and change of all assets are displayed live in a single panel. The user can see the up-to-date state of their portfolio without logging in to the exchange.
• Automated trading strategies: Buy and sell orders are created automatically according to the rules the user has defined and sent to the exchange. Strategies run without user intervention once the specified conditions are met.
• Risk management: Automated trades stay within the risk limits the user has defined. A strategy therefore does not generate uncontrolled losses during unexpected market movements, and the user always remains the one who sets the boundaries of the automation.
• Single-panel management: Portfolio status, active strategies and risk settings are gathered in the same interface; the user monitors and manages everything from one place.

Technology & Architecture

TOREXS consists of three layers with a clear separation of responsibilities:

• Frontend: The web interface built with Next.js presents portfolio data and strategy settings in a fast and responsive way. Real-time data is reflected directly on the user’s screen.
• Backend: The service layer built on Python and FastAPI handles communication with the Binance API, the strategy engine and the risk controls. FastAPI’s asynchronous design is well suited to processing the continuous stream of data coming from the exchange efficiently.
• Database: PostgreSQL stores user accounts, strategy definitions, trade records and portfolio history in a consistent and reliable way.

This structure keeps the exchange integration independent of the interface, allowing each layer to be developed and scaled separately.
